The Courage to
Be Great
How does the average person achieve greatness? Sometimes it's
simply a matter of circumstances, as Ezell Ware found out when
he was thrust into a life-and-death situation and had to make
quick decisions that would change the trajectory of his life
forever.
But greatness is not usually thrust upon us. Growing into
greatness is a matter of making the right decisions, sometimes
in a split second that end up changing everything. In this
speech, Ezell Ware shares his insights into both the dark and
light side of human nature. He gives you a formula for moving
into the greatness which is not only your personal legacy but
your perfect right. The world needs you to be great. And only
you can supply the courage.
- discover what keeps
you from becoming great
-
learn how to get
rid of these obstacles by changing your mindset
- walk with courage
and humility into your own greatness
- leave a lasting legacy

The Hero
Within
We associate the word 'hero' with valor in war, with exceptional
courage, with those who run into burning buildings, neglecting
their own safety in order to save another person's life.
Yet the real truth is that we are all heroes in our own way.
The mother who works two jobs in order to support her children,
the man who risks his well-being in order to protect a
co-worker, the journalist who writes a story that will not be
popular with the authorities, the worker who speaks up against
unsafe work conditions, they are all heroes. And we too have
had times in our lives when we spontaneously acted with great
courage and fully lived up to our own 'inner hero'.
And yet on the other hand, there's not a human being on the face
of the earth who hasn't sometimes stumbled and fell, no-one who
hasn't occasionally acted in a cowardly way, going to great
lengths to avoid danger, even when the only danger involved is
an unpleasant confrontation.
In this speech, Ezell Ware, will
share his experiences on consistently accessing your inner hero,
on living a life of courage and integrity and - if and when you
slip - how to get up and in the game again, making a come-back
that's better than ever.

BIOGRAPHY
Ezell Ware,
author of By Duty Bound: Survival and Redemption in Vietnam, has
a riveting
life story. Raised in Mississippi, he was determined to excel
beyond the limits put upon him. He became the top recruit in
his Marine training class and eventually joined the Army's
helicopter pilot program to realize his life-long dream of
flying. He had no idea how his life was about to be changed!
Downed by
enemy fire, Ware and his badly injured captain endured a
three-week trek through hell, with one canteen of water between
them and only their intelligence to defend them against the
deadly forces all around them. When the captain admitted that
he was a member of the Ku Klux Klan, the situation took a
dramatic turn - and set Ezell on the road to becoming a general.
